यस्मिन् जीवति जीवन्ति बहव: स तु जीवति ।
काकोऽपि किम् न कुरुते चञ्च्वा स्वोदरपूरणम् ॥
If the 'living' of a person results in 'living' of many other persons, only then consider that person to have really 'lived'. Look, even the crow fills its own stomach with its beak!! Thus, there is nothing great in working for one’s own survival.
To help realize Prajatantra further, this group endeavors to make the approach of public institutions people-centric in their dealings with commonmen. Corruption by public officials irritates us sufficiently to cause us to bring litigation for curbing this menace. Equally, we get moved when someone for no reason or for his Hindu identity is made to suffer by any public institutions.

Defending basic human rights of Hindu Gurus targeted for their grass root work for Sanatan Dharma

Soon after the arrest of Sant Asharamji Bapu in August 2013, the Sessions Court at Jodhpur declined him permission to receive inside Jail food prepared therapeutically at his Ashram. Acknowledging his need to have therapeutic food, we then took up this particular cause and filed a Writ Petition before the Rajasthan High Court. We pursued this Petition end-to-end and voluntarily. With God blessings, the High Court in January 2014 allowed this Petition and permitted him to receive on a daily basis food/meal prepared therapeutically at his Ashram.
Saved a Juvenile-prisoner from spending life in Jail by challenging he having been tried as adult and wrongfully imprisoned for life

Madhu Waghe, a tribal boy in Maharashtra and who worked as daily wager, was tried by a Sessions Court for murder of his wife who had died after committing suicide. And he was sentenced with imprisonment for life. His jail inmate obtained proof of his juvenility under Right to Information Act and informed us of his juvenility. On basis of such documents, we petitioned the Bombay High Court urging that Madhu was juvenile at the time of his wife’s death so he can not be punished with imprisonment for more than 3 years. After verifying Madhu’s juvenility, the High Court set aside his sentence and released Madhu from jail in January 2019 when he was about 25 years old. In this way, Madhu’s rest of the life was saved from imprisonment.
Challenged Personnel Department in HC for tacitly shielding high ranking bureaucrats found involved in corruption by ACB

In defiance of Section of the Prevention of Corruption Act 1996 and the Judgements by SC, the Department of Personnel of the Rajasthan Government has not been passing any order, for years, on numerous requisitions made by Anti-Corruption Bureau for sanction to prosecute public servants who have been charge-sheeted by it under the Act. So, we approached the Rajasthan High Court in 2020 (Nishant Sharma & Anr Vs Department of Personnel & Anr) against this arbitrary inaction and defiance by the Department of Personnel. Notice has been issued by HC, reply is filed by DoP and the Petition is now to come up for final hearing.
Protecting Environment & Public Health from Abattoir Pollution

An abattoir situated in Bhiwandi city of Thane district in Maharashtra operated without solid and effluent treatment plants. Concerned with the environmental pollution and the public health hazard caused by the abattoir that we petitioned the National Green Tribunal, Pune (Dharma Raj Vs State of Maharashtra & Ors). And with its intervention, Bhiwandi - Nizampur Municipal Corporation who owns and operates (through contractor) the abattoir had to install the treatment plants.
Country's maritime & economic security jeopardized with no coastal patrolling by Customs; Petitioned Bombay HC

Besides levying and collecting duties, Customs department is supposed to patrol coastal waters of the Country. But information under RTI Act revealed that its patrolling boats are carrying out maritime surveillance only 2 to 8% of the minimum patrolling hours prescribed by itself. Such lackadaisical approach jeopardizes National and economic security of the Country. To fix this issue, we filed a PIL (Vikram Vinay Bhave Vs Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs & Ors) in 2019 in the Bombay High Court. The High Court directed the authorities particularly the Central Board of Customs & Indirect Taxes to consider the issue and take appropriate steps. The matter is now being pursued with the Board and other authorities.
Hindu Saint's life does matter

Shri Narayan Sai, a Hindu saint serving a life sentence in Surat Jail, approached us in September 2020 for getting him a furlough from High Court (a kind of temporary release from Jail) so that he can see his mother who was fighting between life and death. Considering the obvious need of he seeing the mother when she is subject to the extremely dangerous medical conditions, we pursued this particular case before Gujarat High Court for furlough end to end and on pro bono basis. The efforts fructified when the High Court granted him furlough for 2 weeks. Resultantly he got the chance of taking care of his mother in whatever small ways he could.
Reaching out to wherever Hindu identity made to bleed; Defended accused in Narendra Dabholkar murder case & bailed out 3 accused

Seeing the false implication of innocent Hindu activists in the murder case of Rationalist Narendra Dabholkar, we decided to take up their case pro bono which was to be conducted in Pune. We represented and argued for as many as 6 Accused in Pune court during their remand stages and before Bombay High Court & Pune court during Bail applications & custody extension under UAPA. Many times, we obtained orders from Court declining CBI’s plea to extend Police custody of Accused and once obtained bail for three Accused.
Police Accountability Committees formed on a Petition in HC for preventing Police excesses against public

Rajasthan Police Act 2008 envisages an independent and separate body for probing the complaints against Police. Disputedly, no Police Accountability Committee was constituted till 2015. So, for curtailing Police excesses by having the Committee setup, we approached Rajasthan High Court. When the High Court sought reply from the Government on the PIL (Dharma Raj Vs State of Rajasthan & Ors), the Government constituted State Police Accountability Committee for the State and gradually started establishing District Police Accountability Committees at district level.
Petitioned against RTI Rules prescribing fee of Rs. 100 to get information from Courts; with the fee halved, Right to Information made meaningful

Up to 2016, the RTI Rules applicable for all Courts in Rajasthan would charge Rs. 100/- as fee for an application under the Right to Information Act 2006 and would further require an applicant to paste his/her photograph on the application. So, we challenged the RTI Rules before the Rajasthan High Court. After issuance of notice but during pendency of the Writ Petition (Dharma Raj Vs Registrar General, Rajasthan High Court), Rajasthan High Court on its administrative side amended the RTI Rules and revised the fee downwards to Rs. 50/- and removed the requirement of affixing photograph.
Democracy not only about elections; public entitled to know about disqualification and resignation of MLAs

Democracy warrants that when an MLA is disqualified from membership of the Assembly, people are supposed to be informed of the reasons. Public can't be pushed into ignorance and uncertainty about disqualification pleas against their representatives elected to State Assemblies. These public aspirations equally hold good when an MLA himself tenders resignation from his membership of the Legislature. To enliven this feature of democracy, a Petition titled as Deepak Yadav & Anr vs Speaker has been moved in Rajasthan High Court. It seeks directions to the Speaker of Rajasthan Assembly for putting on his official website - disqualification plea & resignation, Orders passed by him on such plea & resignation and statuses about their pendency before him.
